Heflin, Alabama

At a Glance

Heflin is the gateway to the Talladega National Forest, Mt. Cheaha and Cheaha State Park (the highest point in Alabama) and offers a variety of outdoor activities including fishing and hunting. The city of slightly over 3,000 is located along Interstate 20 about half way between Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia.

Lodging in Heflin, America’s Best Value Inn, can be found at 1957 Almon St, just off Interstate 20. Cane 9 Creek RV Park offers a nice place to stay for those with RVs. It is located at 5002 Alabama 46 between downtown Heflin and I-20 on State Highway 46.

Interstate 20 runs along the southern side of Heflin while U.S. 78 comes through the middle of town and is intersected by Alabama 9 and 46.
